Four Achieve Sustainable Building Advisor Certification

Bob Woods, Sheila Gates-Ping, Mark King and Rod Butler of Zeck Butler Architects have recently been certified as Sustainable Building Advisors by the National Sustainable Building Advisor Program. The SBA program includes training and a certification exam in order to train professionals to use sustainable design concepts for buildings to be energy and resource efficient, environmentally responsible, cost effective, and to provide healthy environments. Tepeyac Haven Achieves LEED-H Gold Certification

Tepeyac Haven, a multi-family housing project in Pasco, Washington was awarded LEED-H Gold on October 9, 2007. The Zeck Butler Architects project was the first to achieve Gold certification under the new LEED for Homes pilot program. Link to USGBC Project Profile. (10.07)

Saranac Hotel Renovation Featured on KREM 2 News

The Saranac Hotel Renovation at 25 W. Main in downtown Spokane was recently featured in a KREM 2 News broadcast. Zeck Butler Architects is designing the renovation with a committment towards sustainability. The project is slated to be LEED™ Certified GOLD. (3.07)

Riverwalk Point II is featured in an article titled "A New Challenge: Green Yet Affordable Housing" in the March 8, 2007 issue of the Daily Journal of Commerce. Riverwalk Point II is a sustainable, 51-unit, affordable housing project for Spokane Neighborhood Action Programs. (3.07)
